With today’s pricing that is not too bad. Do you know when it was last used on a regular basis? Are you looking to acquire and run local or OTR cattle?
Bottom falling out on pre-emission trucks?

I would like to run cattle with it but I wouldn't mind it sitting in the yard while I fix it up as long as there potential in it. I make good enough money were it can sit until I'm satisfied with everythingREO6205, Last Call and pete781693 Thank this.

i would really love to drive a Cabover around for a bit but I know in one or two days my big azzzz would absolutely hate that part of it. Plus I’m not smart enough to get everything out of it I need to get out of it when I get out and climbing back in for something would get old. Lolol

Don't worry we've got @pete781693 was his insight I bet he can design a hidden elevator get Doc on board...
Has Doc had the opportunity to co pilot a cabover cause that will give him a whole new perspective of trucking with that bird's eye view of the road..
LolFeedman, pete781693, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
He has not as I have absolutely no love for em’. However I can appreciate ones passion for one. Something about being the first on the scene I’m not down for. And I’d buy lots a windshields I’m sure cuz I’m hard headed. My bed is my catch hall and when raising the cab it’d go south quick. I have driven a 77 transtar II with a shiney 290 and a 8 under or 13 direct so I can say I’m not a fanFeedman, pete781693, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.

JMO.. but I say get after it.. that's a good price and decent truck to make it what you want
I'll second exactly what @wore out said if it's alittle rough on the rails hack it off get a cut off with the screws of your choice so you can peddle at a comfortable speed and stretch it to 270 or so... cause a stretch out cab over on a cow trailer screams ... I'am a Bad a.s.s cow hauler FYI.. you can hang your cow pimping cane on the entry ladder too
On a side note.. disregard @Oxbow 's rant about the pants deal that was always the excuse he used everytime he got hauled to the gray bar motel.. on assault chargesCoffey, Feedman, pete781693 and 2 others Thank this. -
I did a 6 week stent in a 77 cab over corn binder with a formula 350 & 13 on a bacon wagon.. neither of those 2 things made me proud to roll out of the bunk and say oh boy .. let's go trucking... Iam not even claustrophobic.. in fact I like small areas .. but both that truck and 3 deck trailer made me feel cramped
