Thanks. It won't let me upload the video of the first start in 5 years. As soon as I heard that 2 stroke Detroit I was hooked. It doesn't leak oil like I've heard some of these engines do. But I will get a few small drips that end up being about the size of a quarter if left running for a while.
    Is this cause for concern?

    x1Heavy and Oldironfan Thank this.

No. Use straight 30 weight oil. And keep the racks adjusted correctly.

No, all good doggies mark territory. Aint had a old truck that did not leave quarters on the ground.

What I try to do is stay on top of that there oil. I check it constantly.

Those are bad to leak out the draft tubes on each side of the bottom. They are pretty easy to spot. That is usually from not being able to breath. Though when they start getting tired they will leak more than normal. Don't ever assume cause its pouring out the draft tubes its wore out. Could be a minor issue them are way more fickle than the modern counter part

It's not out of the breather tubes. When it was painted they also did the engine block (in frame) said it could be just a little dribble from the exhaust manifolds. I assume the gaskets are worn out.

A good deal if they included ear plugs.

Lol well I've been hauling without the back window because it had to be specially cut to fit so I wear shooting earmuffs that also play the radio. Still loud still hear the road of the engine... Still love it.
