hi everyone been in trucking for 3 years im 22 started dispatching for leased OP but then thought let me try getting my own trucks
just purchased 2015 freightliner evolution and a 53 stepdeck hired a driver/ now after i subtract driver pay and fuel cost and other expenses, i usually get left with about 1.20-1.80 a mile is that good ?
this is after all the expenses subtracted (total profit(after expenses) divided by miles)
what is your profit $ per mile after expenses ?????
my driver runs 2000-3000 miles a week

    thank you in advance

They now giving trucks to anyone?

It seems that you lack more than just the basic business skills.

I strongly suggest you get an accountant and have them figure all of that out for you before you get dinged with some serious tax issues.

You are probably forgetting a LOT of expenses. Not actual cash outlay right now but what you have to save for later. You are also probably forgetting your fixed costs such as plates,

Need specific information to provide a good reply. Your definition of all costs may not be mine/ours. Lay it out completely if you want a realistic response. Otherwise you are inviting criticism.

How did you buy a brand new truck and a 53 ft step deck trailer and hire a driver
all from being a dispatcher.and you got a 1.20 to a 1.80 mile left over after all expenses
    including paying the driver.
Somehow you outsmarted the whole industry!
