Farmers insurance out of Minnesota. It's basically your personal vehicle as long as you not hauling a load. And I just told them value of the truck and that was to get from sales lot to home then to the office. Then I canceled it. Until you ready to haul a load it's a personal vehicle. That's what my agent said anyway. Yes she may have done me a favor but that's advantage of small company and all my business goes to her.

Alot of agents are not familiar when it comes to heavy trucks and would rather avoid them. I had to walk my progressive agent through everything but i got a good rate. Fact is and like someone already mentioned you can insure it for whatever your states bare minimum coverages are to get it home and then cancel just lIke it were a pickup truck. Bobtail will not work here because your still under someone else's liability when you have that.
