Do you have a Fla license or Mich license?

Fla does not allow classes for CDL holders.

Look into it. I'm not 100% sure on the classes part,.. I was once told that its different state by state,.. and that a judge can over rule it and allow the classes.

Nothing is more important than your license in this business.

Think rose petals, nuns, the pope, innocent babies,. that how you need to look on paper. Any small infraction,.. no matter how trivial it may seem to you,.. can come back to bite you in the tookus.

Federal law prevents cdl holders from all the school in lieu of points gimmicks. It also is supposed to prevent the ticket being changed to a non moving violation.

I know for a fact you can get tickets dismissed and reduced to none moving violations. Had it done in Tenn, Tex and Louisiana.

So with that knowledge,.. I suppose its very possible to take the class as well. I've never been offered or looked into taking a class.

Bottom line, dont speed,.. and if you do. Understand the consequences and be ready to lawyer up for any hope of avoiding points.

He’s right about the traffic school though, any ticket in a Commercial Vehicle is not traffic school eligible.. now if the cop would have checked it non commercial he could have taken it.. a ex co worker here in CA asked a CHP if he could check it as non commercial so he could take school and he was nice enough to do it.

2 new steers would make me feel warm and fuzzy.

Need to find that alignment shop Blair took his truck to. If I remember right they were highly recommended.

The one thing I can't do on my own so need it done right.

Nebraska is another state in which a cdl holder cannot take the class. Back in ‘05 i got a drag racing ticket in my Nova SS, cop assured me that i could take the class to nix it....nope. I lost a chunk of my business because of it when a customer I’d contracted with checked my driving record a year and a half later.
