So.... I spoke with someone from Carlile Transportation today in Fairbanks AK, as in Alaska. I've been thinking about going up there. The lady asked if I was willing to relocate.

I'm like well ya, thats why I called.

I have had a simming obsession with Alaska for years ......

I finely started to bug them and then ####, they called back.........:biggrin_2556:

    I will keep everyone apprised.

Good luck. I checked their website a few years ago and it said that you had to drive OTR for them in the lower 48 for 1 year before they would even consider you for AK. They were paying .34 a mile. I blew it off. I'm not gonna drive for rookie pay for a year for a "maybe" on driving in AK. Hope things have changed and you get in.

Contact them and find out. I know that their freight rates are high enough to be operating since 1947, plus they have added Trains, Planes and Ships and Barges since then.
