    Yeah, my buddy went and picked up his truck with them today. He got an '08 ProStar. He wanted to be put on eLogs, that way he didn't have to worry about any issues.

    If he is a student driver, then elogs may be the way to go, but if has been driving some time and is used to paper logs he probably won't like the elogs.
    THey have their advantages and disadvantages. One thing for sure tho, your going to get that full 10 hour break no matter what.

    Ok i remember him,he lives in alabama..............i was in load securement class with him the whole week,he was cool.I got the green truck.

    Well M2K,

    No Boyd's for me...they don't hire students out of Mississippi. Can anyone tell me why they are picky on where they get drivers?

    I guess I will have to get some OTR experence and try later. Good luck and keep posting. I want to keep up with your experience with Boyd's.

    Because you are to far from where they run loads out of. You are also 4 hours from there Terminal.
