I have an 05 670. The brake peddle seems to have no return spring. If I try to use CC if I get it to set, I hit a bump and it knocks it out. I can hold the peddle up with my foot and all works fine. I can't even see where a return spring or ? should be. Anyone know the setup for this.

I belive the spring is on the footvalve itself I'm not to keen on volvos but kw,pb,fl,and Mack all use that same foot valve and brake pedal mounts right to it so looks like your gonna have to replace the foot valve

I would fix it with a rubber strap and forget it..

There is a procedure for brake pedal height adjustment. The adjustment screw is at the top of the foot valve. it is an allen head screw with a 13mm locknut. Srew it in till you have .16 to .32 inch of free play.. That should fix it. Make sure your air pressure is up when you do it.. I had to do mine cause the guys in our shop were gonna go the
spring/ bungee cord route.. There is a right way to do most things and a wrong way to do everything. -
yep, there is a spring on brake pedal, but with faulty spring brake lights are off becouse volvo use pressure switch

if you push red knob air fills trailer tanks. If trailer looses air you need some time to wait till truck compressor builds pressure in trailer tanks.
