Move the suspect shoe to the other side of the axle and see if the problem follows the shoe. Or maybe you damaged your spider getting the old anchors out.

Maybe buy a new set, or explain to Merchant you suspect bad shoes. Maybe they’ll let you return them either way.

Is the shoe hitting a lip on the drum top or bottom but not the other side?

If so you most likely have spider issues. A BFH as well as enough heat can move ####.

You have about narrowed it down till it can only be the spider depending on which axle you have that could mean an axle

Okay so i have a guy he said the brake shoes are right. I installed new brake drum as well and now brake shoes are alligned but now the issue is after using the service brake for a while the slack adjuster is locking up and push rod does not move back and forth it is stuck. Could be bad slack as well ? New s cam new bushings new drum and shoe

Top one is still closer to drum than bottom. Here is pic as well from the s cam and how the brake shoe sits on the s cam

So obviously something was wrong with the old shoes if they're fitting properly now. Either that or they simply weren't being installed correctly.

Who did the cam bushings? Sounds like something is screwed up stopping the cam from moving freely. Take it back to them if you can.

Maybe try disconnecting the slack adjuster from the brake chamber push rod then turn/rotate the cam manually. Might have to slip a pipe over it for leverage. See if any obvious appears.
