OK. The owners manual says towing NOT allowed. Screenshot_20241117_085129_Drive.jpg

I couldn't agree more. No way I would spend the money on a brake system for a heavy truck or class A coach to tow occasionally. I've done it before and plan to do it again with my wife's Jeep Wrangler with manual T-case.

I’d rent a tow Dolly and put the rear wheels of your Colorado on .

then when your deliver the semi , just tow the dolly home behind the Colorado

Just need a decent temporary hitch on the semi

I see a lot of folks using one that clamps on the rear frame crossmember .

Autozone, pick up a magnetic light set, wire to plug into Your pigtail and roll on! Some is just trying to line their pockets

As I mentioned above, I towed my Volvo wagon with a 2 wheel drive automatic in neutral with no problems, by having the engine idling. It provided enough cooling to the transmission. It used surprisingly little gasoline, over 100 miles a gallon.

Just have somebody ride in the towed vehicle, and whenever they see brake lights they hit the brake pedal. Lol
