Hey guys hope everyone is doing well. So went to move the truck today (tri axle dump) when I hit the brakes they stuck on, brake pedal wouldn't come back up,fine last week was really cold here lately though. Heard about pouring some alcohol in the air line but don't know where or what line,or I can wait till it warms up a little. What do you guys think. Thanks.
Brakes stuck, peddle won't come back up. Cold temps.

You said the brake pedal won't come back up? My '05 International had one of those big aluminum pedals and I learned to spray some WD40 on the pivot point to keep it from sticking. Road salt from my shoes would get in there causing corrosion

What kind of truck.
Can you pull the brake pedal back up?
Could be just dirt, spray and clean under pedal -
I am not familiar with your truck, but isn't mounted on the floor, or from above? And mentioned before, spray with WD-40 and try tomorrow it up.

Mounted to the floor. It's a sterling dump truck.I pull the brake pedal up but it falls back down. I'll try spraying some WD on it tomorrow and see what happens. It worked last week, but it was also in the 50's. Maybe its frozen which airline do I pour alcohol into?

Sounds like the plunger is stuck. You’ll have to remove the pedal and pull the little rubber boot of and use channel locks to pull the plunger out and clean it reinstall coated in anti seize.
IH Truck Guy Thanks this. -
Thanks now that you mentioned that the plunger is stuck in the down position, thanks I'll mess with it tomorrow.I'll need to build air pressure up first?
