I have a 1995 379exhd the brake pedal seems to go to the floor and doesn't want to stop so great, I have adjusted the slack adjusters and still no luck, the question that I have its there a way to adjust all the slop out of the pedal travel? or is there a valve that I need to adjust? truck just rolled over 1,000,000 miles

check brake pressure on chambers/ 100 PSI with pedal in floor - is 100% braking.
it lets u understand, what kind of problem= air ore mechanical? -
There isn't really a link between the brake pedal and brakes with an air system. if the pedal is acting funny, either the air supply to it is below the proper pressure or the valve is worn out. As long as you have full air system pressure (100-120psi) it is likely a bad valve.

Does the truck pass a dot test?
-
Or a bad leak on the application side

Where is the vavle at that I need to check/replace??? -
Im not trying to be mean here but I will be blunt. Brakes are the single most important thing on a rig. We all have family on the road, get them professionally looked at before you get someone killed. It's obvious you don't understand enough about them to be working on them. I understand wanting to save money but there is a time to put that aside and this is itCaterpillar Cowboy, tsavory and magoo68 Thank this.

The apply pressure gauge or primary tank gauge doesn't show no leak down -
I agree, the pedal always went to the floor like any other old truck I have alway drove, but just yesterday it started getting worst not wanting to stop at all, Trust me I would rather lose a high dollar paying load then risking a accident/death of somebody else's family it's just not worth it, how much is the valve and where is it located at?
