Break an hydro wire while on a side street .

    Yeah, let the insurance company deal with it, that's what they're there for. If they defend the claim and don't pay it out it doesn't go on your record. I'm sure they'll fight it as they're even tighter with money than we are. However, give them any info they may need to help fight it (pictures, links to ordinances, etc). We take 'em down now and then, it happens. But it's really the utilities fault. Those install guys aren't paying any attention to height. There's a line on my street that gets knocked down a couple times a year. How hard is it to string it a little tighter? Just make sure you don't knock any down during playoff games or you might get shot.

    I took a line down in east Tx. one time.. Cable company hung it low.
    The lady at her house was complaining to me how it keeps happening.
    I told her to get a Sat. T.V. system and she would not have that issue any more. She saw no humor in that.
    Well the cops get involved and it seems they hung all the wires to low for Tx. rules. So guess who had to lift wires for about a mile when I took my oversize load down that road.
    Popped a phone line one other time.. Cops called and they said crap happens let's see your permit. Yep ok have a safe trip
