Break in time of lumpers companies.

Lumpers are, more often than not, not the real issue but the receiving process;counting, inspecting, taking product to the stacking area, then making room and handling the paperwork. The biggest culprit is over - scheduling too many trucks at the same time...

 

Go get a flatbed buddy, its a nice welcome change when u show up for a pickup and the forklift driver is waitin for u to back in, already has the product on his forks, "how ya want er loaded there boss man?" .. Then when u deliver the forklift waiting for u to get ur straps off, ive had job sites i deliver too , stuff i had to tarp the guys even helped me unbungee everything , fold the tarps and help roll my straps up , every once in awhile u get a slow place but its few and far between in the open deck world

 

I dream there is going to be that one delivery in my life, that when I arrive crowds on streets are welcoming me, the orchestra is playing and golden forklifts are waiting ....when it is all done I appear on television giving interviews....perfect delivery.
