I do hope drivers will flood the lines with calls, fax, and e-mail on this proposed hogwash.

 

Amen brother! The special interest groups and lobbyists run this country.

 

I agree 100% .....it' all about safety according to the FMCSA, but yet when safe experienced drivers leave the industry in droves, because there fed up with all the BS, then your left with new, less experienced drivers. How safe is that?

 

Apologize to moderators for making them move a post. Silly me I thought a thread about new regulations should be posted on Trucking Regulations

1) They had to rewrite the rules when a Federal Judge ordered them to.
2)The basis for PATT and CRASH's ruling was he said not enough time was given for comment and or research. I believe they have satisfied that this time
3)Thank the teamsters for that goofy to midnight until six am
4) The hour break is not a block as in consecutive. Two half hour breaks accomplish the same thing.
5)Way better than it could have been and was predicted.

well this is what needs to happen,when on the 29th of december when the public comment period begins drivers need to put there comments in to fmcsa. Those drivers who make any childish excuse why they can't put there comments in will ho no room to complain after the fact!
