I have been a driver for Brenke for a couple short months and that is all I could stomach having to fight for my paycheck every single time. It has been a true nightmare. You would think a company would protect their drivers because they are their bread and butter. Not here. Everytime their was problems, and everyone in the trucking world knows their is always something almost every trip that pops up, we would have to wait hours to get it resolved with multiple phone calls. If the problem happened after business hours, we would get a "call me back during business hours" statement from the manager, Robert F. Or, "why are you calling me now (at 4:30p.m.) I am taking my daughter to soccer, call back during business hours". What a joke this company is. Ripped us off for hundreds of dollars in payroll. We have families to support. He even denied paying a tow company! He told the tow company, "what color was the truck? and the tow company didn't answer correctly and he said, "well you didn't know if that is even my truck, so I am not paying". What a scam artist this guy is.

I am responding to thecomplaint above. 1st Mr Brisco1, never had to fight for a paycheck theonly fighting over pay was his out of route miles. Most loads Mr. Brisco1would turn in an average of 150-200 out of route mileage even exceeding 350 onetrip. True example: he was dispatched from southern AZ to Detroit MI on a1 pick 1 drop load. During his second day of transit, MR Brisco1 checked inwith a location in Louisiana??? He had gone 350 miles out of route because hisspouse had MapQuested his route and told him going all the way to LA was thefastest route to Detroit??? When confronted on his route he was told he wouldnot be paid for out of route miles. He was not charged for fuel and wearand tear on the little excursion. He believed he was owed these "out ofroute miles". We do not pay out of route mileage, nor does any othercompany unless approved. As far as the why are you calling me at 430pm:Every driver has all phone numbers for afterhours emergencies. In thissituation Mr Brisco 1 was calling for a money authorization code for a truckwash, when in fact was told on several occasions that non-emergencies (truckwashes/services/personal draws) should be requested during business hours. Nottoo much to ask. Tow company: Mr Brisco 1 went into the ditch, didnot notify dispatch, and instead called a wrecker service who pulled histractor out of the ditch. Mr Brisco 1 wrote down payment contact info, gave it to the service company and left. I received a call later thatevening from a tow company wanting payment for services I had no idea about. The first thing I did was ask for unit number, driver info, color ofequipment, license plate, any info that I could verify services. I didnarrow it down to Mr Brisco 1, and the tow company was paid. Mr Brisco 1did not quit and would still be working for Brenke Logistics if he would havetaken the counseling sessions seriously and changed his behavior. He wasfinally terminated after getting 2 back to back DOT inspections and 6 violationstotaling 100 weighted points according to CVSA. He was also the onlydriver to get written up by DOT safety inspectors during our 1st audit. His lack of professionalism, inability to conform to government safetystandards, and adhere to company safety rules and regulations is the reason MRBrisco 1 does not work for Brenke Logistics. I have all records to prove violations..etc. Stay away from Eric F. He has less than one year verifiable OTR driving experience and in that span has gone through 3 previous companies before coming on with Brenke Logistics. One of the worst employees I've ever had.

Thanks Robert for providing us "the rest of the story". It is rare for us around here to hear anything beyond the initial claims of a driver, which in many cases is 1 post, and never heard from again. Stick around here, I believe you will like it and can maybe provide us with insight into your world from time to time.

Thanks folks, I appreciate your responses. I do try and give everyone a chance. Mr (Brisco) F knows this, I had to fight just to get him on my insurance for lack of experience. I currently have 6 good, experienced drivers that would dispute anything Mr Brisco's wife wrote. Again I appreciate the replies. you folks take care and look me up when you are in Phoenix!!!

6 violations in 2 inspections, of the six, how many are on bernke & how many are on Eric? Have you refused to fix the issues of the 1st inspection if any were needed....I cant even think of six violations that are all driver errors...

Robert F. Thanks for providing a clearer insight into the problems Brisco1 had with your Co. I'm always impressed when a company rep. takes the time to set the record straight and tell the "story" behind the "story" Mr. Curt M. also took the time a while back to recount a problem an employee had with his company. I'll say it again if more companies would take the time to be upfront with this audience like you two gentlemen, the industry would be a whole lot better off.

Wow.
My first thought ad usual when I read posts of this nature. Where is the Paul Harvey, now we have the rest of the story. At least the other point of view.
Its good to see someone take a o.p. to task.
Now to see if o.p. refutes.
I wonder where the line in liability or slander is when posting on forums.
Both for o.p. and responder.
Isn't there a legal line what a employer can say about a terminated employee?
Still a fantastic thread

I'd guess log violations.
Easy to rack up some quick violations
