Thing has saved my bacon on more than one occasion, but I understand some just don't want one.

Oregon and Washington states are very scenic. In Spring the trees and flowers are all greening and blooming, a spectacular view for sure. Deer and Elk all sorts of wild life out and active. I do like to watch the big hawks and eagles out soaring on the thermals. The roads are clear of snow but now full of tourists. and it sure seems that no matter coming or going, heading any direction, it uphill.

Especially on the 97. That is tourism central for Oregon, especially in the summer.

Taking an early 30 at the Utah/Wyoming line...more or less. Funny, I'm a mile up and it's nearly 60 degrees, while back home in NC they are bracing for a winter storm. Hope none of y'all are going to be on hwy 20 in Oregon, I expect by today large stretches of it will be underwater. Very close to the road in several spots yesterday and the melt was getting stronger.

    More later...
