If I remember right, it was in kindergarten, that we learned about sharing and making sure we brought enough.

Am assuming that you bought enough speakers to share with everyone, since your bragging about it. Verify this statement, and I'll pm my address. Lol

What type of dryer do you have in your truck? So where do you shop that has a dryer vent and good quality audio products at the same location. Also do you have a washing machine, or is it one of the new ones that does both?

When I was younger, I took off to the south. Landed in the Louisiana/Mississippi area, doing cash construction work for some guy I met out there. A week later, there was a little weather pattern they called Katrina....

Oh yes katrina. The most profitable year i have ever seen. Charlie, ivan, katrina, and 3 more that season. That was a 6 month stretched i was netting over 30k a month. Too bad most of it got spent on stupid ####.

Man what i wouldn't give for another fema contract now that I'm older and smarter.

After Katrina and that storm season, I spent a lot of time running into the Louisiana, Mississippi region. actually all along the gulf coast. Hauled in loads of construction supplies and equipment. Had a hard time to turn anything away. rates were just so crazy. The best stuff was the energy industry. They had so much work it was scary. signed on to a few jobs that we got big window cards that gave us clear running for months. Roll into scale, have the card up in the window, get green all the time, no checks, nothing. Wore me out running like that for three plus months.

I always respect a man who has a sense of priority! :)

Hm, maybe we could have him come out to the desert in July and August! We could use some cold and snow about then...

Yeah, but in the first grade, we also learned how to smack somebody in the mouth if they tried to use our stuff!:D

Put on a show today. 734 miles has me about 2 hours from my drop I'm Minneapolis. I'll be there, unstrapped and rolled up before they are open in the morning. Then on to Mellen, Wisconsin to pick up the home load. Take a couple days off, get in my new truck and roll on again. Been hitting some out of the way truck stops lately. Easy parking and good food makes this a lot nicer job. Enough with the fast food, tonight I had chicken pot pie, potatoe and bacon soup and chocolate silk pie. So good. Funny how your world contracts on the road and simple things like good food and hot showers become the things that really matter.

Hope y'all had as good a day as I did.

And you sir have discovered why i don't stop at pilots and loves. A real meal is the perfect ending to a hard day. And you can't get a good meal at a chain truck stop.
