It isn't about tangling or being aggressive. a bicycle, or any other slow moving vehicle is holding their lane, it is our responsibility to wait till it is safe to pass.

As for backhoes near the center line. That's just an operator that hasn't spent much time transporting his equipment. He doesn't have the feel for road speeds and is worried about running off the road or clipping a mail box with his or rigger.

Awake, but just barely. God, I need coffee. If there is a positive about laying up in a truck stop it's that coffee is just a short walk away.

So another 530 mile trip up to PA to try and she'd this load, then up to Wilmington, DE to load on shingles for WV. Tough start to the week but I'll overcome it and keep moving forward.

    More later...

Good to see that things got straightened out. Hope that they made it worth the headache.

Speaking of amenities on the truck, I was looking around inside mine today while parked. It's pretty cool the creature comforts I'm afforded:
    Refrigerator
    Microwave
    Built in inverter
    Keurig coffee maker
    Custom mattress
    HD television
    Internet television
    TV sports packages
    TV movie packages
    GPS
    Tablet
    Laptop
    Printer
    Cell phone
    Unlimited internet access
    Ample supply of food onboard

And few other things I'm sure I'm missing.

I toyed with that idea until I discovered cold brewed coffee. $20 for a coffee press at any Starbucks. Each morning I press out my coffee, clean the press, throw in three heeping scoops of coffee, fill with water, and put it in the refrigerator.

Cold brewed coffee doesn't have the acid of hot coffee. Much richer taste.

Oh no. Coffee is meant to be drank warm. Tho i admit to enjoying an iced mocha on occasion.

Next time you get through Joplin, stop at the Petro and get cold brewed coffee at Caribou Coffee. Amazing. That's what changed my mind.
