    Lord God no! That place is a war zone. Truth of the matter is I'm from Lexington, SC, but I married a girl from Concord and moved up there. Things didn't work out...to put it mildly...but I never went back home. I have decided, in the interest of my sanity and emotional health in the future, that every 5 years or so I'm going to find a woman I hate and give her half of everything that I own.

    The wife is full born GRITS and from Durham, so the carolinas divide is strong. But I get it, Being a NorCal native. had sort of the same thing with the socal bunch.
    I have been given honorary southern statis. This is only because my wife is GRITS, from Durham and I can actually make a good piedmont style barbeque.
