In Denver since about 1200. Wow, was finding a parking spot tough. Guess every trucker in the area got a bad case of the lazies and pulled in early. That sucks for us pseudo-vampires. Ended up coming back east a bit to a Loves where I lucked into a spot. Last one on the lot and in a location that pretty well dictated that I nose in...right between two CR England trucks. If they hit me it'll be my trailer...they hit my horse and it's war. If they hit my wagon it'll just be a good fight.

Hope y'all had a good weekend.

That would take all the value out of it.....:D

There are enough stops relatively near there, that you shouldn't have to be stuck there.

I know it doesn't sound logical, but when you get this stuff, keep pumping the liquids in. NON alcoholic, of course. But you get into a downhill spiral where you get dehydrated, and it makes you sicker, and so on.

Don't push yourself too much. You don't want to go out and see how much you can bench press until you're a little stronger.

Some folks are totally uneducated about cross contamination. I'm betting that the majority of food problems come from lack of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Things like prepping a salad on a surface you've cut meat on, without doing a thorough job of washing the surface with HOT water and a good detergent such as Dawn.

Good grief you had to go all the way out to Bennett? Did you check the TA, Sapp Bros and Tomahawk?
At least you aren't stuck under the freeway....I just hate that Pilot...

You made it! Hopefully you're on the mend. I've been dealing with this bronchial crap going round and round and round and round my family for the past couple of months.

I'm at the Tomahawk right now. Excellent food in the diner...breakfast was so big I couldn't finish it all and that rarely happens.

So why am I at the Tomahawk you ask? Well, after babysitting this load for three days it seems that it never occurred to anyone to get on the stick and find another load to put on me, so here I sit, waiting again. Pretty sure I won't get one today so I'm going to take a nap.

    More later...

If you're at the Tomahawk in Watkins go across the road to the north to LuLu's. Way better food and cold beer if you need one.

May walk over there in a few. Got a load out of Pueblo tomorrow but can't load it until after lunch. Heavy sucker also, 49,800, but loaded right I'll be fine. Just going about 330 miles with it to Haviland, Kansas where this whole process will start all over.

Just returned from dinner at Lulu's. Monday is the spaghetti special and the barkeep swore up and down how good it was so i got it instead of the steak. Lulu must be at least part Italian, because that was some dang good pasta. Now I'm going to sit here and relax and indulge my latest addiction...Mobile Strike. Don't start if you haven't because you'll look up and realize you're about succumb to the impulse to start buying upgrades...lol.
