Well, seven hours of driving took me from the Rockies to the Great Plains. From the Air Force Academy to Dodge City. Passed a few places i had been to with Trans Am...made me think how much things have changed for me in a few months. Drpp this load tomorrow morning and hope to have something soon to get me out of Kansas.
More later... -
Me thinks your load out of Kansas is gonna be sailboat fuel.
Airborne, Highway Sailor, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -

My bet is motorcycle doors, and it is definitely high octane sailboat fuel here...blowing 40+ all night and getting stronger as the sun gets up.

And it's cold...
Crusader66 and cke Thank this. -

Well, I'm a Southern Boy, so anything below 35 is cold to me...bank thermometer says 31 right now.

Will say though, I received a nice compliment yesterday from a dock guy because I put the 53' trailer in a hole with no pull-ups that he said takes most guys 15 to 20 minutes to get in.
I told him, "it's all about the Volvo, it's all about the Volvo."Airborne, cke, 1951 ford and 1 other person Thank this. -
Two and a half hours to get unloaded....looking at three on a reload of drywall going a whopping 360 to Arkasas...which I very likely won't be able to complete today. Looks like a third straight crappy week.
