    Talked to BD 69er today. He's hanging in there, however, to say he has been hit with a "life" related head wind, would be an understatement.

    I'm back...sorta. Mom is showing some improvement but has a long uphill battle in front of her. What never got posted was that on my second day home my Dad collapsed and had a seizure. We thought initially he had also had a stroke but it turned out to be double pneumonia. So for several days there I had both parents in the hospital two floors apart. Dad was discharged late yesterday to home care and my Mother told me to go back to work. I'll argue with Dad but when Mother speaks it's the law, so here I am just outside Truman, AR, waiting to unload and reload for an unknown destination.

    To all who have called or expressed concern here, I thank you sincerely. I've felt a bit alone and overwhelmed this last week but you guys have offered a bright spot in an otherwise pretty dark week.

    Absolute waste of time. Full of banality and tall tales. Hell, mostly we just swap recipes and invitations to Tupperware parties...lmmfao.

    Your parents are in my thoughts and prayers. I have 2 parents in their 70's and luckily heathy at the moment. Both have survived cancer (lung for dad and breast for mom) and congestive heart failure for my dad. Turned out to be a virus that settled in his heart. It's in good shape now. . One of my biggest fears is I'm stuck on a load somewhere and can't get home....
    Glad your back to work... but do what you have to do....
