It is just flat out amazing what they can do now. But there are still a lot of things they don't know, but they are gaining knowledge every day.
I believe when the man upstairs calls you, you're going to go.

It is amazing, to be sure. And you are quite correct. When He calls, you're going.

This ended my day yesterday after a very short 217 miles. Took 9 hours to get and change that drive tire.

Told the powers that be I wanted to go home and see my Mother, so of course they put me under a load to Texas. In Morehead, Kentucky now doing a 10 in a rest area...what great fun.

Hope y'all are having a good week.

    More later...

Where is home? And where were you when you told them that. Plus, was the Texas load already booked for your truck.

9 hours to take care of a tire seems a bit much.
What were you out in the sticks or something?

Texas has a number of places to load going into the carolinas. My guess is they have a reload heading your way.

Home is in NC. Told them when I was in KC that I wanted an Oregon load or to go home. Sent me in a very roundabout way to Craigsville, WV where my Oregon lap starts only to shift gears on me at the last minute and lay a Home Depot load on me that is another nearly impossible deadline...usual bit, "Your the only driver we have that can make it happen....yada yada yada". Bunch of grade A bullplop. Dispatcher screwed the pooch and I gotta fix his mess. I can crank out the miles and it gets used against me constantly. Meanwhile, drivers who do half what I do go home 3-4 times more than me.

Weird business, trucking. To bad I don't know how to be lazy...lol.

I hope so. I'm a little road weary, as much from worry as anything I suppose.

Bd. They will continue to take advantage of you for as long as you allow them to. Keep that in mind of these things keep happening.
