Sure that's what I do, but that's typical for me. I thought that term meant something a bit different for an OTR guy though.

Home. Taking a couple days off to nurse an injured ankle and a cold that just won't give up. Got to the yard yesterday afternoon to find that the only load that was available was a run to Long Island that didn't deliver until Tuesday afternoon. No thanks. So I ran up to Old Fort and loaded a couple preloads just to make a couple shekels and headed for the house. Went out with a couple buddies last night and had a little fun until my ankle got so sore I was having trouble getting around.

"What happened to your ankle, Broke Down?", you ask. Well, not really sure. Couple days ago I was working on top of a bit of an unlevel load and stepped down from one level to the next and my ankle popped and it's been sore as hell since. Didn't twist it or anything, just stepped down about a foot and whammo...pain, and a lot of it.

So today will be ice packs, aspirin and fluids...got to shake this off and get ready to roll again.

Hope yall are having a great weekend.

Get better soon, that Long Island load is calling your name ;-)

I'll be heading out this afternoon for a morning delivery to Seattle area. Reload for Eugene, OR, reload for Riverside, CA, reload for Sumner, WA, reload for Eugene, OR. My week is pretty well planned out, however, it's trucking and anything can happen.

Long Island can kiss the smelliest part of my anatomy. I'm fed completely up with the Northeast. Nothing up the for a company driver but lost time, traffic and aggravation.

Hey, I know you're macho, and all that. BUT if this doesn't ease off on the pain and swelling get somewhere and get it taken care of. Being macho is fine. Great. But don't ignore something that is going to come back and haunt you 20 years down the road or so. There was a reason for that "pop" and there is a reason for the pain and swelling. You just need to find out what that reason was, and see if it needs a bit more than a little TLC.

    Scooter, noticed your signature line.
Since you run mostly west coast, have you encountered some sort of questions about your choice of truck and maybe your point of origin?

    Oxbow Thanks this.
