No, not really. It's mostly the canned stereotypes repeated over and over on this site. Since I'm a generally sarcastic person, I figured I'd rub it in a little bit with my gravatar and signature line.

My Volvo runs and performs beautifully for what I do.

I've driven just about all the newer different manufacturers trucks out there today.

I specifically purchased Volvo because it's what I like and I could of purchased any other truck I wanted to.

Just my preference. Different strokes for different folks.

Have a friend and former co-worker out on the east coast that runs a 730. leased on to big orange right now.
Truck is a 2015 model year if memory serves me. Was brand new when purchased. got a seriously killer deal on it as left over stock. Factory loaded with X13 package.
I think the seats were the only thing not at the top, no leather.

Truck runs great and not a single problem. Then he is a fanatic about maintenance.

Yeah, I think the maintenance upkeep is the biggest component with any piece of equipment.

Hooked my trailer a bit ago. Noticed a screw in one of my drivers, started losing air right away under the weight of the loaded trailer.

Thank God I made it to the tire shop just down the road, a roadside service call would of been way more expensive.

BD, sounds like a sprain. I've been known to have my ankles do that for no real reason. Remember RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevate. Sometimes the ligaments set up, and stepping down like that causes them to pop.

The reality is if Broke Down 69er had been wearing these boots, he wouldn't have hurt his ankle while tarping that load.

I've yet to hurt my ankles when closing my van doors while wearing these boots!
