At least it wasn't 103, that would have been hot!

 

This has all the making of trouble or a sitcom, not sure which.

 

So I worked for a plumbing and hvac supply house as a delivery boy, (boy, aged 52 or so...).
Anyway, I had cut some lengths of truck rope for the stake bed. I didn't have any tape handy, but my trusty Zippo was in my pocket. So I started melting the ends of the ropes, to keep them from unraveling.
As I was working on this, the store manager happened by. He said, "Oh, I didn't know you were one of THOSE!" In my own brilliant way, my bright reply to him was, "HUH?" He said, "you're supposed to be working, but here you are smoking rope." Bloomin idjedt there!

More likely a soap opera...
