It's been a doozy, thats for sure, but I'm holding up pretty well. What i really need is an Oregon loop to keep me running hard for a solid week and a half. Not sure why, but the road has a calming effect on me, as do those Western states I came to love so much. I need me some Northern Idaho and Western Montana right now.

I am seriously happy for you! Blow the cobwebs out, and decide which way to go!
It was good to talk with you the other day, even though I had to cut it short.Airborne, Broke Down 69, Al. Roper and 1 other person Thank this. -
Best wishes. Getting back to work was the best for me when my father passed.

Familiarity, always a comfort. Thing is, while docs signed off, you still need to work the rehab program. doing the exercises and stuff. It takes time to heal from an injury, your only half way there.
Airborne, Oxbow, passingthru69 and 2 others Thank this. -

I was right, the boss had a little hissy this morning, but I told him I needed some solitude and seat time to clear my head a bit. Surprisingly, he voluteered a load going to Minnesota, Wisconsin and back to NC. Best thing I can think of now is a week of driving. Going to be fun driving and dispatching 6 trucks simultaneously, but it has been noted that my drivers never call the office. Why? The have a load on them and one waiting on them...why call? Lol.

Memphis, Indiana. At the Loves. Fought construction, wrecks and traffic all the way here. Took about an hour to be cussing up a blue streak at all the assorted idiots.
God, its good to be back.
