The Iowa 80. Delivery time changed so I whipped in to grab a hot meal, shower and a little sleep. Maybe should not have had that Caribou cold brew, now all I want to do is clean the truck...God knows it needs it, it's bug season in corn country and my green truck is brown from all the guts, so off to the truck-o-mat I go.

    More later...

I'm sure you do. But I would be remiss if I didn't take the opportunity to take a dig at Scooter's Volvo, ya know?

Oh dispatcher, dispatch thyself. MN load cancelled leaving me to scramble up another load for myself. Picked up a light load going to Pleasant Valley, N.Y. that pays much better than the cancelled 48k load fror the same distance...and 34k less weight. All my guys are yard bound for the weekend and will spend all next week running pipe out of Baltimore to Mt. Hope, WV. Looks like I'll end up being out until Tuesday or Wednesday, still have to get a load out of N.Y. headed South. No problem there.

    More later...

Of course I did. Good food, couple stiff drinks after cleaning the truck, and lulled to sleep by one hell of a thunderstorm. Wanna make it rain, spend a pocketfull of money cleaning your truck.

Airborne, Al. Roper, tony97905 and 6 others Thank this.

Grandmas has a great Pork Chop dinner.
Have not been in a while. Used to be that in the "Lounge" you could get a serious burger. Not available in the restaurant.

Speaking of Iowa, the old Bosselmans in Altoona was a good place to eat. While a J now, the food is still good.

Airborne, cke, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.
