It's got a touch of the town where I grew up
Something in it them California girls love
Some people like to make a little fun of
The way I talk
It gets slower after three or four cold beers

Years ago, the wife worked at a company that had global operations. Several located in asia, most of the people had little or no problem with her slight accent. When it was time to talk with others from places like Tennesee, Georgia, and even Texas, they would call the wife to have her translate. Seems that people who have an asian language as first or primary, have a real problem with "southern" dialects.
