Broke Down 69...The Adventure Continues

Joplin, MO, 636 today and am in position to be in Chicago a day early. Good thing because it looks like I'm setting in the path of an ice storm...snow in Chicago. Got 579 to go and if the weather will cooperate, I'll be in position around 1300 or so. If nothing else I'll get a reset in and be able to run like a bat out of hell from Chicago on through next week. Ready to get back and take over my truck.

Now fellas, you're going to get your chance to hand it back to me soon enough...like when some mystery sound has me convinced my E flat discombobulater valve isn't geehawing with my indexed whosit and I'm sure I'm about to have to spend a dumpster load of cubic dollars to fix it.

 

Man, that's the gold plated gospel truth. I'm lucky that a good number of highly experienced hands, like yourself, have inexplicably taken an interest in helping me down the road.
