    Had someone ask to explain the ‘walking and chewing gum’ illustration.

    If you fell while you were walking and chewing gum, and you made a post about it, because you feel that it’s unsafe, and someone tells you to try Big Red. Or someone asked if you do chewing gum or bubble gum and some people even debate which is better, that’s all fine and well....some people like to argue. But if some fool lost EVERY tooth in his head from falling, why in the world would you listen to that fool?

    There’s a thread about going to NYC. Some people want to debate which city is the worst to drive through. That’s fine. Some people like to argue. But what if the person debating can’t drive down a Texas farm road without getting into a bind?

    There’s a thread about YouTube truckers. You have people that are interested in trucking, going to YouTube to learn. How do you know whether or not the person is an idiot? There have been certain members of TTR that were also YouTube truckers. There was one mentioned in the YouTube thread that people said that they liked. Why aren’t they on TTR linking their videos like Scottie? Well, some were...until members here pointed out that they were Complete Idiots. So, the Village Idiot left TTR and went back to YouTube, where he/she can be viewed as an authority among people who do know better. Keep in mind, it is against forum rules to identify the Village Idiot. Pointing someone out and saying, “You ARE the Village Idiot!” gets good people banned. It kinda reminds me of the redlight districts in some socialist country, where you can get arrested and go to jail if you tell some guy that his working girl is a ladyboy. You have infringed on ladyboy’s right to work.

    Speaking of that, I heard something about some proposing legislation to bring up charges if you ‘discriminated against a ‘“transgendered women" by not dating them. Seriously?

    I guess pocket pool will actually become an Olympic sport.

    It is a strange, sad world we.live in. And I couldn't agree more when it comes to the rules here regarding identifying the Villiage Idiot. There are times.i just shake my head at things some people post.

    Woke up this morning to an absolute disaster. My vape wouldn't turn on. Money is tight because I'm shunting all my incoming to the new truck, trying to stay out of my savings and make this a self funding venture. Anyhow, didnt want to spend any money I didn't absolutely have to. So, I bought a pack of smokes. How the hell I smoked these things for so long is beyond me. Went to Ahloma here in Omaha and they told me it was fried...but they cut me a very good deal on a new rig, and I didn't even buy the dead one from them, they sell the line and had I been able to provide the receipt, they would have replaced it free of charge. For those of you that vape, if you happen to be in Omaha, give these guys a look. Real customer service is a rarity these days.

    Well, I dawdled a little over 200 miles today just to get in range to be there tomorrow. Already got a preplan for a beer load coming back towards Omaha...actually Western Iowa, then I'm going to do a couple short runs to stay busy until Thursday, when, at long last, I'll get all the paperwork done and take over my 660. Seems like I should be more nervous than I am, I do have moments where my nerves act up a tad but mostly I'm stoked by the challenge. I'm confident in the truck, mechanically, and Morehouse's freight availability and while it might seem a little arrogant, not many people have the ability I have to stay in a truck and keep it moving. This truck has drove paying miles everday since Dec 28 and I could keep going indefinitely on recaps. So, hopefully, I'll realize a better income while simultaneously paying off a truck in less than 1.5 years.
