The double entendre was like low hanging fruit. Which for me is useful, seeing I don't like climbing up on ladders anymore.

Well, I had a first today. Got to Newark about an hour ahead of schedule and was feeling pretty good about that seeing as how I got absolutely no sleep last night...Then I saw the dock area. Now, I can see how under normal circumstances it'd be a piece of cake to back in, but the circumstances today were anything but normal. Front of the lot was full of trailers, every dock door was full and between the end of the trailers, and the front of the tractors there was less than 20 feet. My flatbedding mind is scrambling to see any line I can make work and I'm coming up completely empty. Go to check in and they get my paperwork and send me down to see the warehouse foreman...nice guy named Junior. He tells me straight off that there's no way a sleeper truck is going to hit the dock, where was I parked? Told him out on the street and he said put it down there, the yard dog would grab it and stick it in the hole. So I did and then positioned myself to watch this guy do what appeared impossible. He twisted and turned and went forward and back a foot st a time, but by God he got her in there. Then they had me hook back up and they released us as a group fro right to left...very interesting. Hauled on over to Philly, checked in, told to put it in door 8 and then relax, I was going to be here awhile. This place is a breeze to dock in so I hit my door, did some paperwork, filed my report here on TTR AND NOW I'm going to take a nap.

    More later...

I delivered to Portland Bottling earlier in the week. Their situation is such that it requires them to send out 2 guys with handheld stop signs to stop the traffic. Guess they had to start doing that because some anxious idiot 4-wheeler couldn't wait an extra couple of minutes and broadsided a truck backing in.

Here's a couple of photos of the place I pulled off the internet.
