Well since you're going to be there for a while. Do me a favor and mount a plow to your truck for me and keep 20, 97 and 126 over to Prineville cleared for me will ya. Be going through there Tuesday at earliest if roads and weather allow me to leave Tremonton, UT tomorrow. Appreciate it! Haha

Yeah, save the environment, kill me. Good trade I suppose.

I couldn't care any less about environmental concerns right now if I gave it my whole undivided attention. As for the taxes...highway robbery, literally.

    And thank you.

Great, now California is infecting her neighbors. We gotta do something about that looney bin.

Yeah, I'll get right on that.

I'm no emoji expert, but you seem to have hit it right on the head there.

Yeah, salmon and steelhead are serious business in the PNW. It's a shame how depleted the runs have become since I grew up trolling for King Salmon on Puget Sound in August. Back in the '60's you regularly caught 40 to 50 pounders, and up to 80 pounders weren't unheard of. IIRC the limit was six. Last I fished the Sound the limit was three and you were overjoyed to get anything over 20 lbs.

They cancelled the salmon season last year. I am totally with no salt. I used to have salmon spawn on my property in a stream right in front of my house. Last time I saw them or any fingerlings was in '98. Sold that house in '05.

Hey they have to make their money somewhere. With no sales tax, other taxes are bound to be high.

Oh yeah, we are all expendable in the eyes of the environwackos.

See my reply to SJ, above...
Oh hell, Oregon is nothing more than California North as far as the nut cases go.

While I am not without sympathy for the fishing industry, I think a much larger issue than road salt is the silting of the rivers caused by over harvesting of timber and rampant development of housing along rivets and streams. This was a huge problem in Western North Carolina, where the trout population was decimated by logging and development in the 80s and early 90s. NC imposed major logging and development changes and within 5 years the trout population not only recovered but exploded to the extent that stocking efforts were reduced by 80%. I'm an avid trout fisherman and today I could take you to literally dozens of streams where you could spend the day catching fish after fish. Western North Carolina uses as much salt as the rest of the Southeast and Mid Atlantic combined.

As for the meme...uh, no comment.

    Okay, on the fish thing...

    ...salt isn't good...

    ...but coffee is good.

Nowadays the salmon in Puget Sound put up a FIGHT. Reason being is all the caffeine folks are pissing down the toilet in Seattle.

Maybe this has something to do with clearing a windshield? Red Bulls? :D

    Okay, I just gotta know...

...did you pop the hood and stand tall in front of the windshield or pour out a piss bottle?
