Broke Down 69...The Adventure Continues

-9 when I parked...-14 right now.
Woke up to piss, moved to the front seat after that for a smoke. Came face to face with an inordinately curious elk. What a trip. I'm going back to sleep.

 

I am taking an extended 30 for a hot meal and a shower in Billings, Montana. Busting out miles today...I90 so far...about to jump over to I94 for the rest of the haul.

Every trip I have the same goal. Arrive with me, my truck and my load safe and intact and if at all possible, on time.

On this trip is had one more...a legal 700 mile day.

706 miles and 11 minutes left. I'm 455 miles out from a delivery not due until Friday, however, if I can make it there by 1430 tomorrow, they'll take it early. I'll have 7.5 hours to make it...very, very close. Going to give it all I've got and maybe pull it off.

With regards to the elk, the dang thing scared me all the way over to the jump seat...just glad I had already took a leak or something may have happened that hasn't in well over 40 years. The elk seemed unfazed by the whole affair.

 

Positive. Much to attractive, and appeared to still have all its teeth.
