Hey, not to get political. But I was reading this section of the immigration code today from 8 U.S. code 1182 section (f). Maybe you guys can help decipher what it says?

(f)Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

I suppose that an argument could be made that Scoot was talking more about law than politics.

And to answer your question there Scooter, it appears that the prez has been given authority to ban all forms of alien life that he deems detrimental. In other words, no little green men from Mars are allowed.
