683, and I'm at the Oak Grove 70. Fed, showered and back in the truck to share another day. Bagged the idea of splitting my book when I realized I could make it here if I stayed hard on it. The timing was perfect, no traffic to speak of and a 67.3 mph moving average...man I love my rand GPS, it breaks down my day so well, I can see how and where to improve on future runs. Going to get into Klamath sometime Sunday so I'll have a little time to kill but not enough for a 34. May have to spend it at the Pilot just down the road about 5 miles before I hammer it on to the next stop. Probably Minnesota again but it's possible I could go to Texas...we'll see soon enough.
Hope y'all had a safe and profitable day...

I'm sure you have posted this before, so I will keep it short; but what Rand McNally GPS are you using?

678 today and I'm in Cheyenne, WY. Bad wind. 25 is already closed to empties, 80 is about to be and it seems that the wind may keep up through tomorrow afternoon so I may take a little extra time before I leave tomorrow. Got 1182 miles to Klamath Falls and no need to be there until Monday so no sense in fighting 60+ mph winds if I don't have to...at least it ain't snow and ice, as a matter of fact it's 71 degrees right now. Other than Wyoming being Wyoming, it's a beautiful day.
Had my first confrontation with another driver a little bit ago. Guy was backing in and there was no way he was going to miss my truck, he was heading straight into my grill when I laid down on the horn. Guy pops his brages and I think he's getting out to survey the situation but he comes up, jumps on.my step and tells me how he's about to kick my ###. This did not set well with me so I helped him off my step by throwing the door open on him. He falls, cracks his head good and hard on the ground and I hopped down to point out the error of his ways. First fight I've been in in better than 20 years. CB got hot and heavy and the next thing you know I've got 15 or so drivers at my truck laughing and pointing at this jerk as he finally got his truck backed in...to another spot on the other side of the lot. What a tool.
Interesting day all in all.
How about y'all? -

Wow, almost to punches. Your right, what a tool, or lack of a tool as may be.
Don't like people getting up on the truck, unless I give my permission. I usually give one polite off the truck please, then it goes down hill from there. I really like the door move. one of my favorites.
One thing I would like to point out, let the other guy swing first. maybe even let the swing glance off a shoulder. Then it's free game to beat the fire out of them. Do be carreful of how far the fire extinguishing goes, just enough to make sure that the chance of flare ups is minimal.Last edited: Feb 10, 2017

Some sort of surprise snow hit in front of me last night. Got a strip of i80 closed this morning. May end doing a reset here...waiting to see.
