Im not too old to enjoy the ride. I'm too old to tolerate the crazy. That and my wife would probably shoot me.

That's where I'm lucky. My GF would either want pics and video, or to join. But I know that's a rarity.

Ya screw that. That's one of those things that sounds like a great idea but in reality is more aggravation than it could ever be worth.

Man we got some weird stuff going on in my company right now. A mass exodus of drivers. Some fired, some quit. Not sure what's up. I'm pretty removed from the day to day goings-on in the yard and office but from the little I've been able gather it seems like the owner has either lost his marbles or has decided to prove he's the big hog at the trough by liquidating anyone who voices any opinions whatsoever. I had a strange sense something was up when my Oregon partner abruptly quit. A week ago he seemed quite happy with the run and money. He's the sort of runner that you have to hire 50 people to find one of, so he won't be easily replaced. As for me, I just continue to grind out the days and miles and will try to stay out of any of the palace intrigues. Today I hit about 650 and am stopped for the night just outside Indy. 697 to Chatham but they don't need me until lunch time Friday so I believe I've got it covered. Going to get a shower, dinner and read a bit.

    Hope y'alls day was good.

Nothing else matters except a decent paycheck weekly that doesn't bounce and your truck being fixed when it breaks.

Yea, almost got killed the other week. She asked where Bruce and I went in the afternoon. I stood proud and said soi 6
She flipped. Then told her for pics and Bruce wanted to say Hi to a couple of ladies he knew. Then showed her the pics. She said I trust you with Bruce, but not by yourself lol

Might not be the smartest thing to put any info on your company out here. This forum is read by a whole lot of folks.

Mine went well yesterday. Delivered in WA, reloaded right away and drove home to Oregon. Will leave on Saturday or Sunday afternoon for California.

Crusader66 and Broke Down 69 Thank this.
