You’ll see very easy. Be careful with cheap harbor freight set. $10. Use oil, try not to break cheap tap off inside alternator. A proper size hardened bolt might even work, or a self tapping sheet metal screw from hardware store.

Nothing to it. Just drill the hole according to the tap size you want to use (there's a handy chart in most kits). Thread the tap in, straight, a couple turns, back off half a turn. Thread in about 1 turn, back off 1/2 turn. Repeat until done. Use a good cutting oil. Just take it easy and it'll go fine.

The dude I took it too wore out like 3 grinding tips on the porcelain of the plug, then got an E-Z out in it.
Took him hours. He said that was his last tip, he'd spent several hours on it, and if that one would have broke, we were going to have to pull the head lol.650cat425 Thanks this. -
