Hi. Today out of nowhere the shift linkage snapped on one of the trucks, a 2002 International 4300 with a dt466 and an Eaton synchro-6. Snapped at the threaded portion by the rod end, which appears to have been welded before, so not the first time it happened.
What would cause this to happen? Luckily it happened in the parking lot and not on a busy street, but this has me very worried.
