Ahhh yes Blue Star. They double brokered a load to me through Ceva a few years ago. The customs paperwork wasn't in order so my driver had to wait 7 hours at the customs booth while Ceva tried to get the consignee to pay taxes and duty on the machine. Consignee refused becauee it was only going to a trade show. Meanwhile LS refused to pay me detention, didn't answer the phone etc. 7 hrs later when he got on the Canadian side it was too dark to unload so I told him bring that thing back to the yard. Ohhhhh the Big Blue Star was PI$$SED. I told them I will sit on this forever until you give me detention and pay my extra miles. They threatened to have the cops charge me with theft and all that. I got my rate con a few days later.

What?!! Bad info on a double brokered load. Blasphemy!!

Lol, why is it I always figure out its double brokered after FUBAR? I cringe on hazmat that's not direct shipper.....

I had a shipper try and tattle on me for simply telling them the hazmat barrels needed to be banded down To the pallets. He even told me fedex said the same thing..... Hmmmm
