The broker misrepresented the temperature for the load.
It was supposed to be Fresh, it is Frozen at -10.
What do you do where there is 45 degrees difference?
Broker lied about the reefer temperature

And if people are here to say to deal with it, it isn’t them taking risks.
The reefer is to hold the temperature, not cool it down. So, in the summer I don’t book loads at -10 when it is in the 90s or higher. At times, they do load a warm product, then the carrier mostly is taking liability for it, not the shipper.Iamoverit and Ok big boy Thank this. -
Maybe get a van and eliminate your problem. Going to pull reefer you'll have different temps regardless of the outside temp which is no problem if you have a decent unit/trailer.

You ran it loaded at the wrong temp or you showed up to load and it was the wrong temp?
RockinChair, Siinman and 77fib77 Thank this. -
Canceled on them since the rate was low. They misrepresented the temperature.
I arrived with 35 degrees on the reefer, and they wanted quickly load the product and change it to -10. That’s 45 degrees difference.
Good for you if you want to be liable for drastic changes in the temperature in the last minute. Was released from the load.Iamoverit, MACK E-6, Ok big boy and 5 others Thank this. -
I have never seen anyone wanting to load the trailer so fast before the appointment time.
Siinman, 77fib77, dosgatos and 1 other person Thank this. -
