I give them proof (each time). I get with the trucker (carrier) who got scammed and I have them send me a copy of what the scumbag broker gave them for my load. Never makes any difference. I send all the ppwk (each time) when I report somebody. Never see them get their memberships revoked. It's disheartening.
Brokers, beware of this carrier: EXPRESS TRANSFERS, LLC MC# 1532949 / DOT# 4047460 (based in OH)

These scams are hurting the legit small owner/ops out there in other ways. I'm a single owner/op based in Henderson, NV and have had my authority for over a year now. I don't believe I have any negative info on Carrier411 (why would I?). I've been turned down at least 16 times in the past 6 weeks by brokers because I have no inspections on record. Is it my fault that I don't get pulled over at a scale-house? I'm currently just spending a little time in Denver with my sis. So I needed to find a load from Fort Worth to get me here. But the load that got me here I basically had to beg for. And this was from a broker who I had already hauled for 5 weeks prior! So I sent him a pic of my CDL and a pic of my truck showing my numbers and plates. I even offered to send him the ratecon and POD of the load I had done for them previously. He finally gave me the load.
Lately, I've been offering brokers a 50% discount off of the linehaul if I am just ONE MINUTE LATE for my delivery appointment. I figure this incentive will motivate them to give me loads. But even then, they are skeptical. Something needs to come to a head real soon.Last edited: Jun 23, 2023
Siinman Thanks this. -
Let's say that the real broker is different from the one on the ratecon. What can be done at this point? Call the real broker? Call the actual customer? I thought of this as a deterrent when I was offered that beer load out of Austin TX a couple of weeks ago. I posted about that on this forum. -
alds, Siinman, PPLC and 1 other person Thank this.

Do not take a load from these guys, they are the same Express Transfers LLC. They tried to pull the same double brokering crap on us but we found the actual broker for the load and they are about to find out that their load is cancelled and they will not be paid for it. -
