Brokers Think They're Doing US A Favor

Shipper can't deal with million carriers calling. Anyways even if they did the carriers would drive down prices. Sure everyone would jump on 5/mile freight that brokers seem to get. But then your typical guy that's happy with 1.80 will take it.

I just dislike certain brokers ethics.

 

Just think of the brokers as the outsourced shipping or receiving department, because that is what they are. Instead of every company having a knowledgeable logistics department, the outsource it. Who knows, it may actually be cheaper for them to do so.

 

Imagine this im looking to buy a house im gonna go from door to door asking, is you house for sale? oh so maybe there should be a house board where i can see all available houses havent found yet such a thing. Bottom line is Brokers play a huge role in the trucking industry like in all other industries.

 

I haul 100% brokered load 3 trucks just takes more time to sort through bad loads lately but still good rates to be had Imo still making same average per day

 

what boards you use?

 

I use ITS just takes lots of phone calls and a good understanding of what lanes r paying It's all about revenue per day!!!!
