Oh look, another one of these threads.
I left the house on 3/23. I've made $22,850. 5,767 miles. 2015 must have been a good year.

I have never understood why so many people worry about what brokers are making or taking off of a load. In a free market companies are allowed to set their price. Whether you choose to accept that price is your choice. Who cares what they are making.
We as owner operators do not have to work with freight brokers. It is a choice. If you do not like the rate do not haul the load. Better yet, brush up on your rate negotiation skills and make an attempt to get what you want.
Another thing that is an option instead of hauling brokered freight is to find your own direct customer(s). Plenty of companies are looking for a reliable trucking operation to move their goods. Be confident. Be patient. This is business. Put yourself out there and do a good job and provide a safe, reliable trucking service and people will work with you. If you do not ask for what you want in this industry nobody is going to give it you.
P.S. As @God prefers Diesels said, WTF do I care what the brokers make?John Joel Glanton, Brettj3876, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
That's why we need autonomous / robo brokers.
