'Brutal' arctic surge to send temperatures plunging, bring 'life threatening' cold snap

Been there been colder than that.

Still here. Im not unsympathetic but this Nation will shiver on their way to work following the latest fashion as always.

 

Ever notice when things are difficult that someone has to come along and say how they had it harder?

 

I'm hauling cars in Fargo at the moment. Come visit. It'll be fun! Honest!

uhhh......nope.

we didn't have it that bad, back in my youth...

sub-zero temps, wind chills, snow as high as our eyes, walking 35 miles to school, then to the grocery store, then to the animal feed store, then back home, to a small coal or wooden stove for heat.

no electrical blankets, or space heaters, or propane tanks.

no quartz heaters.

nope, we never had it that bad way back in my day.

i typed this up with all 4 of my remaining fingers too.....

 

Glad I moved to Southeast Regional last Fall.

 

No big deal. Just the usual cold winter weather up here in Minnesota. It's not that bad and your not the only one.
