I guess if God could change everything to the good, then we wouldn't have free will, would we?

Man. You are wise beyond your years Opus.
To place me in a mathematical equation: self=agnostic(freewill)(neardeathexperiences)=
Solve in the linear sense and i keep coming out as Catholic.
Ancient Greek philosophy is still fun and important even if it doesn't answer everything for you.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
He asked if anybody else has been arrested, Is he just trying to throw them off or he had help

Just read the latest. Police definitely used familial dna databases as i suspected. Now they are just connecting the dots. White Kia, was in area of murders etc etc. Narrow the pool of suspects and deniability. Man i love forensics. Investigators can even gather other circumstantial evidence such as soil dna so when taken into the totality of the evidence paints a pretty damning picture hard to aquit. That aspect should play out somewhat interesting assuming a decent defense attorney. Explain your DNA at the crime scene, under the victims nails, hair whatever.
That probable cause affidavit will shine light on what the police were tight lipped about. Good job maintaining the integrity of their case over this long 8 weeks!Another Canadian driver, xlsdraw and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

If you think I'm a religious zealot, someone is slipping something into your cheerios.
Only thing I'm a zealot for is Tacos.
I see the suspect is now claiming he was on a road trip with his dad from WA to PA for the holidays, and was never hiding.
On that note, Happy Sunday!

Who knows what really went on there with the police.
It seems very odd to me that they had that much physical evidence at the crime scene, that much dna, but it took them this long to track this guy down.
I didn't really read the exact account of how they caught him but it may have been simple as a trooper saw a white Elantra and pulled him over who knows?
I could be wrong, but it just strikes me as extremely odd that he could slip away from that gruesome mess and go that far and not be bothered for this period of time.
Again I don't know all the facts of the case I could be wrong, but something to me seems like it's missing that this guy just got that far away that easily and it took that long for them to get to him. It doesn't seem like great police work to me.
Geez, if he was a little smarter he could be halfway around the world by now.JoeyJunk Thanks this. -

His dad flew from Pennsylvania out west at the end of semester and together they drove the Elantra back to PA.
The days after it happened, I guessed it was an older person 24-36 because of the amount of built up anger unleashed at the crime scene. It takes time and some harsh life experiences to get that angry. Not something a typical frat boy could accomplish. The problem was most of the last peope to see the victims alive were young 18-22 and they had to be eliminated as suspects. That took the cops time to do all the interviews since many of the students fled the town for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The suspect Bryan was a high school heroin addict in the Poconos according to a girl that knew him. Fat and bullied when younger, he lost weight and took up kick boxing and became the bully.Last edited: Jan 2, 2023

5 Fast Facts You Need to Know…
That was a crap article by a reporter just trying to get something out there. I’m not saying he did or didn’t do it but if the case is based off those 5 facts he’ll be driving for Swift in 6 months. Which in itself might be the real punishment.
