Again the probable cause affidavit will be provided once he is in custody in the jurisdiction where the crime took place. Then we all will know more, right now it's speculation or leaks and again hats off to all law enforcement involved for keeping the leaks in check and avoid tainting the process.
Could you provide an example of dodgey forensics? Joe Rogan's name has never appeared on any of the peer reviewed scholarly articles i have researched. He's had experts but again transparency and said process debunks many of these people clearly looking for a platform/paycheck. See great ivermectin Joe Rogan/Italian Scientist expert espousing benefits for own financial gain. Joe seems like a good enough guy, just needs to use some of that wealth to delegate and vet his experts better in the larger scientific community. That probably doesn't align with the demographic that made him rich.gentleroger and mjd4277 Thank this. -
Purely speculating, since these students were stabbed viciously then nail scrapings would have been taken from each victim. One of them most likely got a piece of him. Was his hair at the scene? Again this cat was working on his PhD in criminology, he knew all of this.
Did the psychopath in him takeover (study Rader, Kemper and Bundy) and he had to stab as opposed to other methods? There really is no quiet way to murder that many people and intent goes without saying. I agree, he probably murdered before and the police are certainly looking into that.runningman0661 Thanks this. -
I’d have to concur seeing as I’m married to a DNA analyst who works for the Massachusetts State Police!
My wife is very thorough when it comes to finding and testing DNA evidence, and has testified on numerous occasions in court. Most of the evidence typically involves sexual assault cases but lately in recent years she’s been dealing with B&Es(breaking & entering).
The City of Springfield sends a lot of business her way! She also trains new hires on procedures for testing evidence and writing reports!
The popular running gag in our household is, she literally has no problem dealing with blood and guts(figuratively and literally)but it comes to taking out the garbage in our house, she tries to avoid that and pawn it off of me! That's a reasonable theory . He could have killed animals at the very least to get his courage up.
I have a theory: If it's true that he was a high school heroin junkie, he probably did a lot of burglaries to support his habit.2Tap and runningman0661 Thank this. -
MJD, thank your wife for me and countless others. The CSI crap crime shows undoubtedly made her life miserable as the burden of proof went up exponentially trying to satiate jury expectations.
Hopefully she gets her turn at Quantico! My guess is that if she's teaching she already has ;O)
Silverspur that is a very reasonable theory.mjd4277 Thanks this. -
Don’t mention CSI to her-PLEASE!!

It’s a mockery to her profession!
If people want the inside scoop, she recommends watching “The Forensic Files” on The Discovery Channel. They deal with real honest to goodness casework!

The fastest (to my knowledge) dna sequence machines take two hours to run, not counting sample prep. Most take 10-14, older ones up to 48 hours. Even assuming top of the line equipment, and only 10 samples per victim you're looking at 80 hours of lab work. I doubt Moscow, Idaho has their own crime lab capable for this, so add a day a transit time and two weeks to get results wouldn't be unexpected, and I wouldn't be surprised if it took longer, average turnaround time in WI is 90 days.2Tap and silverspur Thank this.

I am not digging up any peer reviewed articles lol
But this has been going around the skeptics community for years, the first time I heard about it was Penn and Tellers show bull####
Lie detectors are no longer admissible for a reason
Blood spatter is also pretty suspect
DNA though , that one always gets its mangentleroger Thanks this.
