I will look at Millis again but I thought they required recent experience which I don't have. My experience is from 1982/1983. Just graduated NTC school to get license again.

So I'm in my third week of training. This week and next week will be skate because my trainer is going to a company-wide quarterly trainer meeting this Thursday. So we will be at memphis tuesday. The trainer will have a dinner on wed. BTC then takes the trainers out at a great lunch fully paid for on Thursday and talks about the company direction, safety, and what they can do to improve training program. The student stays in the hotel room the entire time. Trainer pay I think is $175 a day. Trainee pay remains the same. Then we will get loaded on friday to go home. My trainer lives less than 2 hrs away from Memphis. Then the weekend off and Sunday evening will be the restart.

I heard that christmas and thanksgiving is the same slack as well. Still paid for!

Then unload monday, reload mon/tuesday and I have to be back # the yard Wed to pick up my own truck!

Too bad trainee pay isn't more.:biggrin_25523: But I should be ready for my own truck anyway.

You may see me on the 23rd or possibly the 22nd because I'll be in the yard to pick up my truck. My trainer updated the schedule for the weekend. Turns out I'll get sunday off as well. He insists that he gets Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas off. So instead of leaving out Sunday afternoon, we leave monday morning we will leave to deliver the weekend load.
