Sarge I am sorry that I don't have. Lot of answers about the leasing of the trucks. Honestly all I really know about it is that its 3 years long and that the pay is 75% with your own trailer and 65% without one. Plus 100% of the fuel surcharge. I hope this helps you out some.
Builders take TWO: my 6 months at BTC memphis and why I still recommend them....

I went to there website and looked around, found some info, but what about there hiring map? I'm in south ms. I'm really interested into l/o, main reason i own my business now and if i decide to go that way i still have a sense of owning my business . Now i know alot of ppl dont like l/o and they try to discourage ppl from doing it, but i think a person can make money if they run it like a business, you just have to have a business sense and stay on top of your exspensis, taxes and so forth. I've talked to several o/o and they all say the easist part of trucking driving is driving the truck.

I got a pre hire throught BTC and im seriously thinking about going with them. How is there new mack trucks? Do they pull the hills well or not. How much hp do they have and i assume there set at 62 or 65.

Starting school on June 25. Thought I had my list of companies that I was going to apply at complete until I stumbled on these BTC threads. It's been awhile since anyone has posted on here. So I was wondering if anyone can give me any updates on BTC? The website says pay after training is percentage. Does not say anything about per mile pay. Are the miles still good? What does the fleet consist of now, and any other info you think would be important to help a fella make up his mind.
Thanks -
Also, I live in Nashville. Is this a good area for BTC?

Treemac. Nashville is a great area to live in while working here. Sadly to say there have been some tough changes over here . There a new percentage pay in place over here. So yea the new percentage pay is ok some weeks ,but some weeks not so good. I for one like the milage pay, but who knows lets see how it plays out.

I really appreciate the honesty. Did all of these changes just happen this year? Sucks to hear, because they sounded like a good place to get started with. I am really hoping I can find some place to start that I can stay with, for a while anyway. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks.
